twice is a south korean girl group that was formed on the survival show ‘sixteen’ and debuted under jyp entertainment.

the group consists of 9 members: nayeon, jeongyeon, momo, sana, jihyo, mina, dahyun, chaeyoung, and tzuyu.

twice debuted on october 20, 2015 with the ep “the story begins” and the title track “ooh-ahh하게."

they debuted in japan on february 24, 2017 with the release of “what is twice?”, a compilation album of the japanese versions of their korean title tracks.
